A cool neutral inspired by the colour of aged natural linen. This khaki grey works beautifully with golds and a range of rich and bright colours such as Emile and Emperor’s Silk.
Use Re-Imagine Creative Soft Wax to seal and protect furniture and any interior surface painted with Chalk Paint™ decorative paint. It enhances depth of colour and gives a beautiful velvety finish, or can be buffed to a sheen. Although not water proof it created a water repellent surface.
To achieve Annie’s signature look, apply a thin coat of wax over your painted surface with a Chalk Paint™ Wax Brush. Work in small areas at a time, wiping off any excess with a clean cloth. For a distressed look, sand back to reveal a little of the wood or paint underneath before applying a second coat of wax.
Chalk Paint™ Wax is not suitable for outdoor use. After care: wipe clean with a damp cloth. For tough marks, use a proprietary spray cleaner and rewax where necessary.
Available in 500ml.
Annie Sloan’s bristle Chalk Paint™ Brushes are perfect for producing a textured, vintage finish. The bristles are strong, yet pliable, and are made of predominately pure bristle with natural split ends, allowing you to paint expressively. They hold a large amount of paint and can also be used for applying wax.
Available in: Small (22cm x 4.5cm), Medium (25cm x 5cm) and Large (26.5cm x 6.5cm).
Capability Green is a warm, natural green inspired by the beauty of the English landscape. Use it to bring the soothing qualities of the outdoors, indoors.
The name is a nod to the lush gardens of the 18th Century English landscape gardener Lancelot “Capability” Brown, who remains to this day the most celebrated English gardener. His greatest works merged the rolling landscape of untamed country parks with flower gardens and ha-ha walls.
A colour that is gentle and soothing to the eye, Capability Green works well with most other colours in the palette, but particularly well as a neutral base alongside blues, pinks and yellows.
Capability Green has been especially developed alongside Annie Sloan’s friends at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to celebrate the great English outdoors.
Frida Blue is a bright, energising and exciting Chalk Paint colour inspired by Frida Kahlo’s “Casa Azul” in Mexico City. Use to channel Frida’s verve, joy, and passion for colour.
